How To Recycle Clocks?

Recycling a clock can be something that concerns quite a few people who want to dispose of the clocks they don’t use anymore but don’t know what they are supposed to do. So, today we decided to write an elaborate article on this very topic and discuss some things that you can do with clocks that you don’t want to use anymore. So, without further ado, let’s get right into it

Use Them As Decor

Depending on how the clock that you want to dispose of looks, you can take the hands and batteries of the clock out and use the just as plain decor. This often most suits the clcoks that do not come with numbers, and unqiue looks.

Reconstruct Them

If you are into making things by your hands, an old clock can be looked at as a n interesting project, you can turn your old clock into an eco-friendly clock. TO elablorate one of the ways in which this can be done, down below is a relevant video attached, do give it a look

You can also get quite innovative with the reconstruction, there are quite a lot of videos available on Youtube that you can go through that will walk you through each and every step of building a cool new thing out of a used clock. Apart from this, you can literally build anything new from as far as your creativity takes you.

Burrying?

Burrying a clock might seem a bit unconventional, but in case you have a wooden clock, you can just take out the mechanical parts of it and bury the rest of it without having to worry much about it. Wood does no harm to the nature vut vefore burying it do make sure that it is actually wood and not just the color sprayed on top of the plastic

Donating Your Clocks

This is one of the best ways to get rid of the clocks, you no longer need. Not only would you get rid of the clocks that you don’t need you would also be helping someone out. You can donate these clocks to local government schools, someone you personally know or even NGOs. though this might seem like a small contribution it still counts more than one thinks. So don’t feel weird if you think only donating a clock is a bit weird

Bringing items to recycling centres is also one way of making sure that old items that can still be useful do not end up in landfills. Clocks can be considered as part of e-waste which should not be in landfills because they contain chemicals that would harm the environment as well as the health of humans.

Disposing of waste has biome an issue over the years. Since all of us produce waste, all of us are also responsible for what happens to it. We should make sure that we deal with our waste in the safest way possible. There is a need to follow strict guidelines in disposing of our waste so that we won’t harm the environment.

Sell Them

If you have a functioning clock that you want to dispose off, you can put them up for sale online. Moreover, if this is a Howard Miller clock you never know how much this clock might actually be worth, and you might even end up getting a surprising amount of money out of a clock if the clock is an original antique clock

there are some Howard clocks that are worth millions as of now so the clock that you have at your house can be well worth something but don’t get your hopes up for anything as this happening isn’t that probable. You can also offer the clock at a garage sale for a few bucks if the clock is still functioning. It might even get you a few extra bucks

Plastic Clocks
